1 Installation Instructions

2. Principle description:
The solar cells can creat electric energy through solar illumination,and the created electrisity is connected directly with the electrolytic cells which electrolyze water into hydrogen and oxygen, and the produced gases get into the fuel cells, creating electric energy to drive the load operation.
3. Steps:
1).Use screws to fix the PEM electrolyzer,PEM fuel cells and the gas tank on the soleplate.
2)Put each parts on their right place according to the order instructed.
3)Use soft tube to connect PEM electrolyzer and gas tank.
4)Add water to the gas tank as instructied in the picture.
5)Use soft tube to connect the fuel cells and the gas tank.
6)Use wire to connect solar cells and PEM electrolyzer(mind the right Positive and negative polari! with red wire to red wire/black to black).If connected to the wrong polar, the PEM electrolyzer might be damaged.
7)Use the light to illuminate the solar cells(the distance between the light and cells should be 30cm. To short a distance might damage the solar panel from overheat), the PEM electrolyzer would gradually produce bubbles.
8)Afer a few minutes, use the wire to connect fuel cells and the fan(mind the right Positive and negative polari! with red wire to red wire/black to black).The fan will turn.
4.Safety Tips
PEM electrolyzer:
1) Use only distilled water or de-ionized water
2) Mind the positive and negative polar.
3)When use the external DC power supply, the power for working cells must be kept within 0.6A.
4)When the experiment has been finished, clear the water in the electrolyzer.Use sealed container to store the electrolyzer.
PEM fuel cells:
1) Do not exert external voltage to voltage output, or the fuel cells might be damaged.
2)Use sealed container to store PEM fuel cells .
Other tips:
1) Pay attention to the distance between light and the solar panel which shuld be kept within 30cm(30cm as the best). If too near, the solar panel may be damaged by overheat.
2) When use soft tube to connect the PEM electrolyzer and PEM fuel cells wit the gas tank, make sure all the connected parts and the soft tube are airtight.
3) Do not dismantle the PEM electrolyzer and PEM fuel cells, or there may be some damage.
